For Many Generations

Music by Emily Lund

For Many Generations is based on Psalm 90:1-2, 16-17: Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations. . . . as well as 1 Peter 2:5: You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

With original music by composer Emily Lund, this hymn was named the contest winner for the 200th Anniversary of Pascack Reformed Church in Park Ridge, New Jersey, in 2012.

Your congregation will grow ever more grateful to the Lord of the Church as they sing about his grace through the generations. The hymn works especially well for church anniversary services.

Within These Walls

Music by Grace Hennig

This Christocentric worship hymn is based on the elements of the liturgy: invocation, confession and absolution, Word and sacrament, creed, prayer, and praise.

It reflects that worship is antiphonal, a give-and-take between God and his people, although God gives so much more than we.

GA Hennig has written a memorable - and already much-loved - tune and setting for congregational use, as well as a concertato. You may purchase the hymn alone or the hymn and concertato together.

"Within These Walls" was first sung at the WELS Minnesota District Convention in June 2014.
